WHAT TO EXPECT & POLICIES

What to Expect Prior to Your Appointment 

New clients are asked to fill out a client intake form and sign via email on the form or in person at time of the appointment. The form will be shared only with your therapist.  A consultation via phone or email will be conducted to ensure that you are a good candidate for our services. Your therapist will also conduct a pre-treatment interview to discuss your concerns and preferences and ask about any allergies or sensitivities to scents and to discuss potential contraindications to massage.

Once the appointment time and date is scheduled an email confirming the appointment will be sent to your email address provided.

Please have a designated space for therapist to park and inform us of any stairs or building codes prior to arrival.

We would advise having a hot shower or bath before your massage therapist arrives. This can help you to relax your muscles before treatment begins. This may also help improve muscle recovery after the massage!

Your therapist will arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled time, to set up table, music and oils.  Therapist will need a quiet space at least 5 x 8 ft to move around the table, preferably close to electrical outlet for a heated table warmer and towels. 

Please provide internet Wi-fi access for music or let us know if you will be using your own music source.

After the consultation/interview our therapist will leave the room while you undress and lie on the massage table underneath the sheet and blanket.

During the massage your therapist may speak with you regarding pressure and your general comfort. Please let your therapist know during your consultation at the beginning of your treatment if you would prefer for it to be carried out in complete silence.

At the end of the treatment, your therapist will let you know and leave the room to allow you to rise off the table. After you are dressed, they will then pack up their equipment and leave you to relax in your home. You may discuss home care suggestions and future appointments at this time, gratuity is appreciated and should go directly to your therapist via cash or check if possible. You may also add gratuity on our online store and it will be paid out to your therapist. 

Your treatment is already paid for via credit card, as this helps to create a seamless process after your massage so that you can remain in a relaxed state.

Park City Healers Mobile Massage is by appointment only, your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you and we request that you please review our cancellation policy.

 

Park City Healers Cancellation Policy

We ask that all appointments be reserved with a major credit card or paid for in advance through our website to provide a secure payment process. Therefore 50% of payment is non refundable as our therapist’s time is being reserved just for you. 

Should you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, we require a minimum of 48-hours notice. If you need to cancel your appointment, please call the office at: (801) 410.0733 Leave your information on our voicemail if we do not answer. Or email parkcityhealers@gmail.com

We are more than willing to cancel or reschedule your appointment if you do so within (48hrs) before appointment time. Otherwise you will be charged for the service(s) booked. 

If the therapist must wait for you to start it will shorten your session time.  If they need to wait for more than 20 minutes an additional charge may incur or the treatment may need to be cancelled or rescheduled.
